OVERVIEW
Below details each aspect of this project, including rooms we’re looking to renovate, why we’re looking to renovate them, what items or services we’re looking to purchase, and some pictures of the current state of each room.
On this quest for improvement, every cent counts. We deeply appreciate any and all donations (and you will be sure to receive our thanks!).
1. Tools & Equipment
First and perhaps most importantly, we’re looking for equipment that will allow us to actively maintain the house, construct new items, and be self-sufficient.

2. Composites
We’re hoping to restore the following composites that have been broken or damaged:
2003,
2004,
2005,
2009,
2010,
2012,
2013,
2014,
2015,
2017,
2019.
We have ordered various frames and glass and testing methods to repair broken composites. These are the top spending priority.
(Among others that are popping up around the house – though regrettably some appear to have been lost and no longer in our possession)
3. Storage
In an effort to keep our items organized and secure, we’re hoping to purchase:

4. Front Yard
The front yard is the face of our home and fraternity. As one of the only fraternities on campus fortunate enough to have this valuable space, we’re eager to enhance and make the most of it.
Item’s we’re looking for:
(1) Kappa Sigma flags and/or
(2) One American flag
(3) At least four outdoor couches
(4) Two outdoor couch beds
(5) Outdoor coffee tables
(6) Repainting crest
(7) Fix window trimmings

5. Dining Hall
By dedicating a room as our dining hall, we create a space where brothers can come together to eat, fostering stronger bonds and a deeper sense of family within our fraternity.
This room would be located in the current living area adjacent to our Chapter Hall.

6. Library
Our library has long been a place of study and reflection, but with our table decaying, the room missing chairs, and our awards no longer on display, it’s in need of a serious overhaul. By revitalizing this space, we aim to restore its importance and create an environment that reflects the historical academic and intellectual excellence of our fraternity.
Items and services we’re looking for:

7. Basement Quarters
Our basement quarters, once a lively gathering spot, has fallen into disrepair with a broken and unused bar, no seating area, and a lack of any decorations. By renovating this space, we aim to bring it back to life as a welcoming and functional area where brothers can relax and enjoy each other’s company.
Items and services we’re looking for:
(1) Restoration of the bar

(4) Leather couches
(5) Leather chairs
(6) Side tables
(7) Rug
(8) New bench seating
(9) Wooden wall panel refinishing
(10) Decorations, including:
Kappa Sigma neon signs,
Ambient lighting,
Framed pictures.
8. Event Equipment
Last but not least, we’re hoping to upgrade and add to our arsenal of event equipment. Over time, certain items have worn down or broken altogether.
Hosting events is crucial to the prosperity of our chapter. It brings the brothers together in one place, draws in new rushes, and becomes the pillar of our reputation on campus.
